Balakirev Ivan Alekseevich – a nobleman, a court servant under Peter I, a court jester under Anna Ioannovna. The sculptural group “Jester Balakirev” was created by the famous Russian sculptor Alexander Degtyarev in 2003 as part of the “Peter’s Assembly” series. The author of the painting is Tatyana Afanasyeva.
