In 1949, Leonid Eidlin, a famous Petersburg sculptor, created a porcelain bust of Alexander Pushkin. The image of the poet, the authorship of the talented master, is strict and internally restrained, but has a special semantic content and conveys the subtle mood and character of the outstanding hero of the work. The sculptural portrait, executed according to the classical canons, is endowed with plastic expressiveness and inner harmony.
