Sculpture “Arap” created by Elvira Eropkina, is dedicated to Igor Stravinsky’s famous ballet “Petrushka” staged by Mikhail Fokin, presented by Sergei Diaghilev in “Russian Seasons”. Brilliantly owning plastic and decorative painting, the artist managed to convey the images of heroes and the fairy-tale mood of Stravinsky’s ballet with penetrating accuracy.
